Hawaiian vacation to Maui

We did a 9 day trip to Oahu (2nights), and Kauai for (7 days) and loved it! This summer we are going to go to Maui. Anyone have any "hidden gems" kind of items that they discovered/enjoyed? Definitely on the itinerary will be snorkeling/snorkel sail and beaches (recommendations welcome). We are open to hotel or air B&B. We will definitely be renting a convertible. We also really enjoyed a mud buggy/ATV tour, so that will probably be happening. Last time we did the luau, and helicopter tour(fun, but been there and done that), so we will probably stay away from those. Things that I have been eyeing are the turtle town snorkel sail trip, the ATV tour, and possibly one of the horseback trips.

On That Note: 'Remember' to make a 'Memory'

Welcome back to “On That Note,” CycloneFanatic’s weekly music exploration, co-hosted by @MeanDean, @CycloneRulzzz and me, cyclones500.

For our latest segment, we’re seeking songs that have forms of “remember” and “memory,” in the title or lyrics. (Terms like “recall” and “recollection” would fit, too.)

Here's one to get us into remembering mode.

“There are places I remember.”

Summer thread- Why do so many old college mascots look similar?

Specifically, the grumpy sailor look-

Turns out it was one guy, Arthur Evans who went around selling mascot designs to different schools. Some of them are straight carbon copies of others, but many of them stuck to a theme. It's something that I've noticed in the past, but never really thought about how it came to be.

***2023 PGA Championship-Oak Hill***

Looks like could have a bit of everything weather wise. Heard them say on Golf Channel that they are worried about a possible frost delay on Thursday morning. Also the rough looks very dense. Driving accuracy going to be very important

Carleton, Lynx debut WNBA in Canada; sell out Raptors home arena

Bridget Carleton went home to Canada with the Lynx for an exhibition game against the Chicago Sky. The NBA Raptors home arena, Scotiabank Arena, was sold out for the game. 20,000 tickets were sold almost as soon as they became available. Toronto is being considered for WNBA expansion, but has a few significant speed bumps to overcome.

Toronto is less than 3 hours from Bridget's home town of Chatham. For trivia buffs, Carleton became the first Canadian to play in a WNBA game in Canada, albeit an exhibition game.

Nice to see this happen for Bridget; she's been with the Lynx now since 2019. Her interview shown in the attachment below is classic Bridget; you've all seen that smile many times before.
