Cyclone Tailgate Tour in Council Bluffs

Sounds like the Rag is making waves on that tour. Why would you ask this question in an informal, fun setting?

I'm not one to defend the Register or Tommy, but sounds like he's tried to get Pollard on the record and he's refused.
I'll admit, this does feel odd, especially the timing. Assuming ISU investigated and didn't find the allegations credible, why can't Pollard just say that?

I have no clue what’s going on with the coach or soccer program , but Birch has been pushing this issue for a long time trying to break some story that doesn’t seem to exist or that nobody else seems to care about. Maybe he is trying to do good journalism but at this point I seem to lean a different way.

Pollard had a chance to let him go and instead extended him. That tells me either the soccer coach has some sort of leverage over Pollard (unlikely) or the allegations are baseless. There isn't any reason to take on the bad PR for a soccer coach.

These events are so much fun. Debating taking my nephew to the one in CR. Were there student athletes present this year? What was the giveaway for the kids?

Thinking about driving up to Marshalltown this year. The coaches are always swamped, but I like hearing the program and have enjoyed visiting with the Cyclone Club representatives. Remember when Johnny and Jim Walden used to barnstorm for fans. They loved to always show the humorous side of it all.

Wife and daughter had a blast...no TJ, but Coach Green acquitted himself well...made a nice "SmMedium" comment too! Coaches were very attentive and outgoing...always a good event.

One thing I’ve always enjoyed about these is how the coaches give eachother sh*t.
