Six-Pack Abs Six Times Worse For Heart?

See, clearly us with keg-shaped abs were simply smarter. Add in the fact that it will take my body 20x longer to decompose if I'm ever murdered and hidden and it's been obvious we were always planning ahead.

Wendy's planning surge pricing on burgers

Just who the hell is going to drive there to find out if they're going to have a decent price that day? Not me. Seems like self immolation.

"Wendy's is planning to charge different prices depending on the time of day - which means a Dave's Single could cost more at lunchtime than mid-afternoon. So-called dynamic pricing would boost traffic when restaurants are quiet and cool demand when they're busy. Such a system might mean that at busy times like breakfast, lunch and dinner, prices it advertises on a digital menu will be higher and at quieter times they will fall."

So how good is the Big 12 in Basketball this year?

How good is the Big 12, really? We are nearing March Madness and getting close to the end.

I was just looking at the Top 25, and wondering why certain teams are ranked where they are. Many of you know quite a bit about rankings, ratings.

But why, for example, when looking at current 19-8 overall record teams such as Texas Tech, BYU, TCU, Oklahoma of the Big 12, and Alabama and Kentucky of the SEC, are the SEC teams ranked higher? They have better conference records, may be part of it? They have better ranked players (perceived)?

How will the teams of the Big 12, the meatgrinder that it is, fare in the NCAA seedings and brackets? How many teams will we get in? How many make the final 16, 8, 4?

Williams & Blum: Omaha or Big 12 title? Women stay on right side of the bubble

Enjoy!

Seth Davis actually has…good rankings?

Honestly hit and miss with Davis mostly miss but his latest rankings make a ton of sense to me.

Houston #1. Iowa State #5. Kansas nowhere near top ten at #14.

Yonger Bastida helps lift No. 5 Iowa State to a dominant 41-3 win over No. 7 Missouri

What would cause TJ to move?

Argh! Michigan speculation here. Another reason to hate the B1G and SEC. They probably think they can just snap their fingers and get whatever coach they want. And they will have the money to back it up for many.

Juwan Howard – Michigan

Rick Osentoski-USA TODAY Sports
Season Record: 7-11
Overall Record: 86-59
The Juwan Howard era at Michigan has plummeted downhill since the team’s 23-5 season in 2020-21, and with multiple controversies surrounding the program and their head coach, it might already be time to pull the plug and start looking elsewhere for a new head man.
Administration needs to focus on landing an experienced coach and a strong recruiter, and if they can convince T.J. Otzelberger to leave Iowa State and the Big 12 they will be in a great position to return to prominence quickly.
Otzelberger has deep connections in the Midwest, has a strong reputation as a lead recruiter, and is a winning coach from his time at UNLV and now with the Cyclones in the loaded Big 12.
Replacement: T.J. Otzelberger (Iowa State)

New Orleans

So, I'll be going to New Orleans in mid-April, purely to be a tourist and check out an old city I've never been to before.

Any tips or hints on things to see and do and places to eat?

I plan to stay in the Central Business District; close enough to walk to the French Quarter, but not right inside either where I would have to deal with the noise.

I'll be there for about three and a half days and four nights.

I already plan to check out the World War II museum and probably the zoo as well. I also think it would be fun to do a ghost tour at nighttime, but that's as far as I've thought ahead.

Thanks in advance!

Tennessee judge grants injunction against the NCAA (NIL related)

Hadn't seen this posted anywhere yet, but it's a pretty big deal.

Effectively the ruling prevents the NCAA from banning third parties from paying athletes to attend a particular school.

It's a temporary injunction, but the judge was pretty clear in saying that the NCAA's policy most likely violates antitrust laws.

"While maintaining competitive balance in college sports is “a legitimate and important endeavor,” spreading competition evenly across the member institutions by restraining trade is precisely the type of anticompetitive conduct the Sherman Act seeks to prevent."
