JTS construction webcam?

Stopped by the Jacobson Building early today and grabbed a couple shots while I was there.

Has anyone heard what advertising space will cost on the new video board? Do they sell it by the sq. ft.?

I'd love to see seats similar to the endzone club on the lower west side (except in the away section) as a way to make the fan experience better for those donors as well to make more $$$.

One thing is for sure. The south end zone is going to be loud. I wonder if they'll ever move the students to the south side of the stadium?

I stopped by the stadium today and took a few pictures. Nothing that Ankeny cyclones pictures don't encompass. It's hard to capture on camera what you see when you're there. It really looks daunting. I was very impressed!

Can't wait for Sept 5th

UNI wasn't intimidated by us in recent years. They will be now.

Yeah. Hopefully it isn't empty like the club section at Pro games. That's the downfall of having a nice temperature controlled area with a bar and TV's.

Does anyone now if/when they will be closing the gap that still exists between the old and new upper decks? When you drive by the stadium on University, you can clearly see the gap from top to bottom where the two deck structures meet. I'd estimate it's about 4-6 inches wide. I'm sure it's not big enough to create a safety issue, but it's plenty big for items to be dropped down below onto the concourse. I have to assume it will be filled/covered, but I would have expected this to be done by now.

I asked Ben Bruns about this when he did the presentation for the DM alumni club. He said that they will install flashing.

P.S. Somewhere in this thread is the complete report that I made from notes taken during that presentation. It was awesome, especially the explanation of the colors for the seating in the south endzone bowl. It matches the shoulders and upper chest of the cardinal uniforms!

Or maybe, just maybe, the people installing the bleachers are doing a great job and the installation is right on schedule.

I have no doubt the bleachers are right on schedule, if not ahead. Thats the easy and quick part. All the electrical and interor stuff is what is time consuming and might be behind schedule.

Thus, why they are working on the interor during the weekends and just having the bleacher crew come during the week at this point.
