No doubt, but still dumb, and i hope they dont overreact and turn the volume down (which they have done before)

That reminds me, I heard a rumor that Texas hasn't bowled in their south endzone yet because it would trap too much noise for Bevo to run without being spooked and trampling people.
 
Barta was asked a week after the game, and he said something to the effect of: "We voiced our concern (re: siren) and didn't receive a response in return."

You could be right, I just recall it being for the overall level of noise being too loud, and not just the siren.

Doubt it. Bevo was able to handle the guy with a jet pack before kickoff. That was the loudest noise I have ever heard.

Not done yet but I thought I saw where that bowling in their endzone will be part of the next round of upgrades to their stadium, along with new practice fields.

The plan I saw was 120,000 seats. They had games last year with 10-15k empties. Risky.

Because Iowa doesn't try anything tacky to get a competitive advantage as well? *cough cough* Pink lockeroom
