Player for player they will still have more talent than us, I would say we had more talent than them this year and they still beat us. I dont know a team in college basketball that had as much talent as us this year and underachieved like us.

A very reliable source tells me that there is "no chance at all" that Justin Hamilton will be back at Iowa State next season. about 1 hours ago via CoTweet
I'm going to wait and see who is on this team before making any bets. If no one else transfers and we add Wilkins and Clark, I would say we will win more than 4 Big XII games next year.
I'll take the over 4 on conference wins. I will mark it down.
Yeah - they beat us this year... :chatterbox:

Where is the talent going to come from next year? What about points? Defense? Rebouding aside from Dendy (if he is here)? Free throw shooting? FUNDAMENTALS?
OU's bench will have the same amount of talent as our starting 5, thats no joke. But if talents are equal has McDermott shown you he can win a game against an even opponent? Not me.What does that have to do with next year?
OU had more talent than us this year. Next year they are losing their Crocker, Gallon, Warren, and Mason Griffin. We will be at worst on par with them talent wise.
I'm not saying we are going to be great. I am just saying that a lot of other schools are losing talent next year

K. State. You asked.
A once in a lifetime win is just that, a once in a lifetime win.K. State. You asked.
Me too. Difference is we know how good of a BB program we can have. The fact that some people are not up in arms about 4 years in the basement of the big 12 is beyond me.All I can do is laugh anymore...this has become the biggest joke I have been around or seen. I thought the Walden years were some dark years until McD came along.
But I will make this comment, Justin Hamilton came to ISU as an unknown commodity and whatever "value" he has built for himself came about through the opportunity and facilities etc. provided by ISU.
I agree.Justin Hamilton came to ISU as an unknown commodity and whatever "value" he has built for himself came about through the opportunity and facilities etc. provided by ISU.
I agree.
Justin himself added the hard work necessary to utilize the opportunity, facilities, etc. However, when I work hard at the opportunity my job has provided and use the company's facilities (to get the task done that they are paying me to do), the company owns the value I add to the product/research. Probably not a great comparison and perhaps Justin felt he was not adequately being compensated?
Ham and his family probably saw how much Mac has done for CB and his draft status and realized it was time to move on. I say this with all seriousness...what Mac allowed CB to do this year was a disgrace. I didn't help our team...and cost CB millions of dollars.
Don't agree at all - claims like this (CW has said the same thing) make my blood boil.
Justin Hamilton made himself into a player through his own hard work, initiative, and goal of self-improvement. Sure, he's listened to the coaches, but we've have more than our share (Gilstrap, Lucca, Colvin, Dendy) who seem to tune the coaches out and fight them. Because Justin is coachable, that's to his credit.
If Gmac had more players like Ham who were willing to work on their weaknesses to get better, we would be in a lot better shape.
