Iowa -7 vs ISU

Iowa doesn't play in the the B1G Conference, they play in the B1G West Conference basically, which is putrid. Ohio State might as well be in a completely different conference than Iowa as much as they (don't) play one another.

I think Oklahoma has played Ohio State more often than Iowa has. What a joke.

If an average team like Iowa is favored in 10 games this season, that is all you need to know about their competition. Pathetic. I'd LOVE for ISU to be in the B1G West.

I know I read on some forum how Rugamba was gonna be the next all american. Wish I could find it

Hawk fans LOVED this guy..... up until last night that is.

Now they are turning on him like crazy. Saying he wasn't very good, probably got passed up by the incoming freshman "stud" CBs, had a bad attitude, etc, etc, etc.

Maybe CMC will go after him?

Not sure which Iowa fans you're talking to. He came up with a big play against Michigan in '16, and flashed some potential. But last year wasn't a great year for him.

If he does leave, it doesn't leave us with much experience at CB. Ojemudia has shown potential, and I liked what I saw from Hankins in limited action. I've heard Creamer is turning some heads, but has yet to take a snap.

Will definitely be interesting to see how things shake out. Hopefully another Dez King or Josh Jackson emerges ;)

I'm not trolling but wasn't the CB opposite of Jackson a problem all of last season?

You said the same thing about Mabin, who lined up opposite of King, and he made an NFL squad his rookie year.

It's too bad he can't line up against Mabin every week, he'd be a first rounder!

Croston and Mabin suck

Combine that with Mabin being terrible

Don't blame him, Mabin sucks

I mean I know Mabin is bad but he's that bad?

Are you saying CB opposite of Jackson wasn't an issue last year?

Iowa led the nation in INT's last season and was 11th nationally in pass efficiency defense. The CB's were fine. When you have an elite CB, the other side is going to be targeted more.

Didnt you learn anything when trying to make this same argument when King and Mabin were the Iowa CB's?
