Michigan @ Iowa

I've noticed that sports rivalries are going the way of politics. Instead of respectful disagreement, people just scream at each other and call them stupid. Makes me sad.

Is this your first day following sports? It has been like this for decades.

I get slammed on here every time I say this but KF is a great, if not legendary coach. He's the worst coach I've ever seen on 4th down decisions but outside of that he has done truly amazing things (albeit often not in the most exciting way). This should have had them destined for 6-6 or even 5-7 after some early disappointing losses but now they're still on track for 7-5 or 8-4.

That Michigan team has steamrolled the entire rest of its schedule, incredible effort from Iowa, especially the defense and special teams.
Hey-can't we just say it was a good day for both teams yesterday? But Iowa winning was the most improbable thing happening in a long time. And great tv ratings also

I smell a Rose Bowl.

I'm sure you do...

I don't think I've ever seen a better game from a college punter than Coluzzi had, and he's been great all year. They don't win this game with just an average punter last night, he should get the game ball. No safety without that punt he killed on the 2 yard line and probably not a close first half without him constantly flipping field position.

And the turf monster worked in his favor! Rugumba had a pic and 3 deflections. Not bad for a true freshman starting at corner against Michigan's 5 star receivers.. Props to Gair filling in nicely at Safety aswell. Defense played in beast mode all night. Also hats off to ths fans for screaming so loud Michigan had trouble getting the plays in. Epic night in Iowa City!

Also Our true Freshman kicker will be getting free drinks for life in Iowa now! woot!

Who's Michigan's 5 star receivers?

A wins a win. ISU vs KU and Iowa vs Michigan . But the #4 team in the nation didn't provide for any better football than ISU and KU. Just more boring, no offense, Big 10 football.

Haaaaahaaaa. Lololol. Kansas -ISU riveting! At least 10,000 people tuned in. Haaaahaaaaaaa

Well if the Michigan team from all year shows up last night, the Hawks get piss pounded. Nice win by the Hawks though. I thought they were done for after that last interception.

The Michigan players themselves said they treated this game like championship week. The real Iowa team just finally showed up.

Minus 3 starters, no less.

Michigan shot themselves in the foot multiple times. That was not a well played game on their part. And Iowa did not look like world beaters either. That's B1G football though.

Someone needs to explain to me how it's "great defense" when an opposing team runs the ball two times up the middle followed by a pass pattern at the first down marker. That to me isn't very hard to defend.
In my opinion, Iowa played not to lose and it worked because Michigan played that poorly on offense. Their quarterback was horrendous and Iowa caught some breaks.
Its no different than Iowa State catching a break when the Okie State kicker missed a chip shot field goal at the end of regulation in their big upset victory.
