Lackluster? Wiki it. Peyton took over that team halfway through the year and went 7-1. He was 3rd string QB until injuries forced him, as a true freshman, to play. He was Gatorade player of the year in highschool the previous year. The similarities are ridiculous, even for UNIguy.

I'm saying I agree with UNI, I didn't even look it up. However I did get what his point was and didn't have to be a jerk about it to him.

That was my point.

Agreed, but you have to admit, it was a little bizarre as a comparison. To take 2 of the greatest QB's in the history of football and compare, while ignoring thousands of other QB's who probably had less than stellar careers with the same first year stats was just a tad over the top.
Great example : 198-370, 2,269 yards, 17 tds-6int, the great sophomore year of Jake Christensen.
