He gets more done in practice...where did I talk about game contribution from Bubu this past year?
Oh good, everybody loves a practice all-star. We needed guards all year, if he was killing it in practice, why did he not see the floor?
McDermott mentioned that Jordan can step outside and knock down the perimeter shot a bit. Didn't recall seeing this in any of his highlights but that would be great if he could knock down some threes with consistency.
kg, honest question for you. There is a lot of playing time on the court for ISU out there that is up for grabs, especially in the 4 and 5 spots, I think you would agree with that. Isn't it odd that our head coach has a son, that is fairly talented and there is no talk about him coming to play for his dad, now that all of these spots have opened up? I just find that highly interesting, that even McD's own son, seems to realize that UNI is better off right now and doesn't want to help get ISU on the right track. Thanks, I'll hang up and listen.

I think you'll find if you ask a serious question...I'm more willing to answer it.
I was scatching, clawing, pulling for us to sign Doug...Two things
Doug is a tweener in the Big 12...Looking at 2-3 years before contribution. Where as the MVC he can step right in and play.
And if Doug was your son...would you want him involved in this? See little Lick.
I saw him play 2 games in person. Never saw him take a 3 point shot. He played mostly with his back to the basket. He might shoot an occasional 10-12 footer. Does all right in close. Good defender. He needs to put on some weight and more importantly, some muscle. Has promise, but he will be a project.
I don't think people would have a problem with little lick playing if he was as good as Doug. It is the fact that he had NAIA talent and was getting playing time
It may be a part of his game the high school coach didn't embrace or maybe he has improved since you have seen him. Sunshine pumping or not, I now expect him to make some perimeter shots.
