Release: ISU Signs Oregon Big Man

I'm almost excited as much about this kid as I am Ejim. I think they are two pretty solid high school recruits who could turn out to pretty good at ISU.

I agree, both these recruits give me good vibes coming in... love it. Id love nothing more than Greg to have a way better than expected year...

Gets more done than Colvin...We'll see if he can do it in a game.

Consider me confused...what more has he contributed than Colvin? I remember Colvin playing meaningful minutes as a freshman...

Why give Bubu a scholarship? I just don't get it. If we can't sign a good guard this year then keep the scholarship for next year. Let's let him show something on the court before he gets a schollie

Alright I fell for KG's ridiculous statement on Bubu....now let's get this back on track and talk about JORDAN RAILEY

We have what, 4-5 more to give...and JuCos are busy taking visits to low-major schools...why not give them out when we have them? I'll take one, I can still play....

All scholarships are single year contracts. As a walk-on, it could be an agreement that you will be on scholarship this year and then re-evaluated after next season.

Just a guess.

kg, honest question for you. There is a lot of playing time on the court for ISU out there that is up for grabs, especially in the 4 and 5 spots, I think you would agree with that. Isn't it odd that our head coach has a son, that is fairly talented and there is no talk about him coming to play for his dad, now that all of these spots have opened up? I just find that highly interesting, that even McD's own son, seems to realize that UNI is better off right now and doesn't want to help get ISU on the right track. Thanks, I'll hang up and listen.
