The scary thing is that this staff is 16 points away from being 10-0 right now.
No sour grapes here.....I hate all things Iowa with the white hot intensity of 1000 suns but am man enough to admit that they are a much better team than we are right now. I know that statement won't make me popular, but be honest, it's flat out accurate.
With their schedule, they should be.
Turns out that Pitt may be the toughest team they've had to play all year aside from Penn State.
Maybe the Hawk and PSU fans will duke it out and you can fly under the radar. :smile:
You DO realize if Oregon State wins out, THEY will be going to the Rose Bowl, not USC right?
I guess we can just chalk that one up as another ISU fan too busy riding the coat tail of the Big XII South, to actually know something about college football outside of the Big XII...

You DO realize that whoever goes to the Rose bowl from the Big 10 will get SMOKED by whoever goes from the PAC 10 right?

Hmm. Please tell me this is just a brain fart, and nothing more. The winner of the PAC-10 goes on to play in the Rose Bowl each year, unless they are in the NC, or get selected by another BCS bowl (example: Iowa to the Orange Bowl in 02), and let's face it, they aren't going to the NC game, and no BCS bowl will pick them as an at-large.
So let's say Oregon State and USC win out both with one loss (With Oregon State obviously holding the head to head tie-breaker). You think that the Penn State game will somehow cost Oregon State the PAC-10 Title?
Pretty interesting bunch we have here, always quick to sling crap at the wall to see if it sticks (ISU winning the Big Ten and going to the Rose Bowl. This post, etc...) Once someone comes in to challenge it, they get the "Go away, troll" "Don't you have your own board?" treatment.
