You guys cant take anything away from the Hawks on this one, They did what they had to do to beat a good Penn State team. I'll give them props for that. Fire away.

Let the BCS shake-up begin -- again, and let the Squawk fans start talking about how great they are -- again! I do wish ISU could finish like that though.

Things change quickly. 1 year you can be the best team on earth, all your players graduate and your stuck being terrible the next year.
What I saw of it - not really at all. PSU just looked uninspired and Iowa wanted it.

I'm just glad the Big X is effectively locked out of the BCS championship. I think worse comes to worse, we get a Big XII - SEC game, and MAYBE a 2x Big XII one if the stars align just right

Yes.. A "good" Penn State team... Not a "great" Penn State team that would of gone to the National Title game if they would of won out.
I will give them credit for beating a team that is probably on par with either Kansas this year, or Missouri if they are lucky..

Bad job by the officials IMO. I know it's a rule. But I think that easily falls under, "not enough to overturn."

Pretty amusing to see all you Clone fans giving Iowa props for a getting a win that none of you wanted to see anyway. Danny Murray joins Rob Houghtlin as Hawk kickers who never have to buy a beer in this state (outside of Ames, anyway) again.
Any BCS team that is 9-0 is borderline great if not great. No matter who they are beating, how they are winning. They are winning. When it comes down to it, winning is what counts. Call it every team has its bad day, but Iowa did exactly what they had to do to beat a #3 team, a huge upset, a MONUMENTAL win for Iowa and Kirk Ferentz. He keeps them inspired in Iowa City.
