By Todd doing this, it deflects the attention from maybe the worst four consecutive days in U of I sports history.
He has nothing else to do.With the smallest shred of introspection, TB would know he A.) Is not entitled to the credentials under the rules or otherwise and B.) Would attempt to cover the teams in a regular significant way that there would be no doubt about this the next time the situation arises.
He's just distraction trolling.
Old saying, "Straddling a fence gives you a sore crotch."It's narrow line to walk to have it both ways.
I have no idea who that is unless it is Todd, but he does resemble the big old Hawk blowhard I know, who pretends he’s a Cyclone fan tooWho me?
Is that the guy that said some really ugly stuff about Ames or ISU fans before the 2019 CyHawk game? Something about it being a racist town or something like that. It was on Twitter and he deleted it soon after.

Thanks, I have read about him, just had no idea what he looked like. I don’t closely follow most of these people cause it just isn’t very useful. He's a former Des Moines radio personality named Marty Tirrell. He scammed people out of thousands and thousands of dollars to attend major sporting events for free.

The rise and fall of Marty Tirrell
Marty Tirrell was in Greenfield District Court earlier this month, aptly on Friday the 13th. He appeared before Judge William Mazanec III and pleaded not guilty to swindling a Red Sox fan out of $4,750 worth of tickets.A disgruntled Iowa acquaintance...www.recorder.com
It would be interesting to have TB try this same approach with the Hoks...he would be banned for life by Barta and the Boys.Brommelkamp airing his grievances on Twitter regarding this definitely won't get him a press pass. At this point, he's just trying to portray himself the victim.
He wouldnt dare.It would be interesting to have TB try this same approach with the Hoks...he would be banned for life by Barta and the Boys.
I think the last part is where this emotion is coming from… a weekend in Chicago was taken away from him (and maybe also a close person to him)… because the emotional response is outbalanced here…. I think he had a promise out there for a weekend in chicago. He said covering the Sweet 16 was a bucket list item for him. He thought his Hawkeyes would get to Chicago so made sure he was covered with Iowa's SID if that happened. He then tried to get a free pass through Iowa State since he already had plans to be in Chicago and they told him to kick rocks. Good for ISU.
Yeah it all seems really weird.I think the last part is where this emotion is coming from… a weekend in Chicago was taken away from him (and maybe also a close person to him)… because the emotional response is outbalanced here…. I think he had a promise out there for a weekend in chicago.
Yep… and call for interviews and guests on his show. He is able to cover the ISU S16 appearance ….. no one is stopping him.Todd can buy a ticket like a normal person and cover the game from the stands. If he TRULY wants to be there to cover Iowa State, that's what he'll do.
