Be honest with yourself. Try to eliminate your bias. Is Hines reporting what he's witnessing in front of him, or not?

tOSU is an automatic loss. Wisconsin and Nebraska should be significantly better than last year. Iowa usually plays like crap out West so @UCLA will be a tougher game for them to win then it should be. Their schedule could have been much harder but 10 wins still seems awfully optimistic for them. I see 8-4 or 9-3 and that’s assuming their offense gets back to pre 2021.

Yeah I guess I disagree. Hines is notorious for giving Iowa State back handed compliments.

He's just salty that he hasn't been progressed further in his career than being just a beat writer. He used to be pretty good, like back in the Fred days, but you can tell he's gotten more of an attitude over the last 10 years.
