Media credentials are denied all the time. I believe Keith Murphy is blocked from covering Iowa basketball because he was critical of Fran.

But there are several open hawk fans and trolls in the media, and they should never get a press pass by ISU. Pretty basic stuff imo
Agree...but he has nothing else to talk about...although...their are two programs playing in the Sweet 16 that represent this state...so maybe he could gain some good will by talking those programs up for awhile on his radio program! Nah...instead they will continue to complain that the refs didn't call enough fouls on Creighton and Caitlyn Clark was treated horribly by the refs!

It's really pretty simple. ISU knows how often ol' Todd has come to Ames for sporting events and actually covered the event. Not hard to track that stuff. Has Todd requested media access to Big 12 tourney games for men? What about the women's team? Does he request media credentials for bowl games over the years? Does he request credentials for men's and women's NCAA tourney games that aren't drivable? Did he request credentials for Greensboro for the women? Why didn't he request for Milwaukee?

So it's probably just as likely he had weekend plans in Chicago and doesn't want to pay his own way.
