I am just saying that is when they are playing their best. Babb doesn't seem to have an impact on whether they win or lose.

totally could be the case, just hadn't heard any indication of that, so I am assuming(yes, I know what they say). And I totally get that happening once or twice in the first year, but these seem like minimal offenses (not like the KU situation or anything) and they continue to happen. A player like Simeon Carter, being in the system for 2 years now, and Darrell Bowie, brought on to be a veteran presence with cbb experience, shouldn't be in these situations if something like that takes place. Or they aren't a good fit, personally, for the culture Prohm is trying to build. That is all I was trying to say

Suspensions aren't just a Prohm thing. Hell Fred suspended Babb (undisclosed team rule), Thomas (DUI) and Nader (DUI) at one time and Monte missed a start because he was underage in a bar the night before the OSU game his freshman year. Then don't forget the BDJ issues.

I agree but sometimes Babb is better playing a post than it is with those guys because they are so inconsistent

Take a step back man. We're still a tourney team at this point, and have only been such 18 times in 108 years. Next year is going to be worse than this year, and if we are still taking a step backwards two years from now, than Ill agree we have issues.

He wasn't going to play anyways. I don't think there is much doubt we were rolling into Lawrence with our 5 guard lineup playing 25-30 min either way to get crushed by Landen Lucas again. I hope Prohm plays Holden more than he has been, but I doubt it. He clearly has helped when in. I wonder if Prohm will come up with the brilliant idea to go zone again with Burton anchoring it.

Maybe that's because we have a coach now that has rules in place and don't let the players run the show. This is a welcome thing imo.

This is the first suspension we've had this year. That is way below average.

Indeed. As a refresher, McDermott's last year we went 15-17 and went 4-12 in conference...with wins over Nebraska (twice), Colorado at home and K-State on the road.

I can respect standards but there seems to be a bigger issue.
Carter-Suspended
Holden-Suspended or sat the bench
Bowie-suspended
Burton-Up & Down relationship
Young-I know there is a fair amount of rumors but hope he can stay on the court and develop

I'm sure there is legit reasons they are suspended but this is not a positive sign. There is numerous players on that bench that question their role on the team and are frustrated.

Not sure what suspensions have to do with questioning your role on a team. Maybe you forgot, Booker was always wanting more role on the team. Oh...and Sherron Dorsey Walker was asked to redshirt because he had a future here, but then hardly played and asked to transfer. Godfrey suspended, drug test failed. Chris Babb, suspension. Then there was the suspension of BDJ, even moved him to different housing. Nader, alcohol suspension. And at one time even Matt Thomas was quoted in an article when he was a sophomore how he didn't know what his role was on the team. So lets not act like players unhappy in roles or suspensions are only new to this coaching staff, please.
