***Big 10 Thread***

I think the same thing. Maybe one of the Philly schools will call him up. Obviously not Nova, St Joe’s, or Temple but maybe the crappy ones like Lasalle or Drexel.
St. John's will probably be open at the end of the year. That would probably actually be a decent fit. I think Fran will be more comfortable out east where he's from. He'll probably even recruit better out there. I can't imagine he eats out a lot now. Iowa fans will eat him alive in public.

St. Johns would want nothing to do with him

Makes me sad to think our days of watching Mad Fran could be over in a few months. Plus the last thing ISU needs is for Iowa U to have a chance to hire a good coach. I really like the coaching advantage we have currently. I'm hoping Fran keeps the job.

D__n it all to h__l. This is moving too fast. THis type of melt down was suppose to happen in the middle of next season when Connor was fully committed to hoks. Now the lot of them can pack up camp by end of this season.

I am not too worried about Barta getting anyone good but even a blind squirrel.....

Let's be real here, who would iowa seriously look at as a replacement? They couldn't honestly hire another mid major coach could they? Iowa fans would flip.

Could they pay a guy like Kevin Willard enough to come from Seton Hall? He's had a nice career there.

That program has become a career ending opportunity

Prepare for backlash from the Hawks on here for showing a tweet by the entitled one
How do we know that tweet was from a Hawk fan?

We don't....just some anonymous dude on social media. Honestly I wouldn't let my kid on there under his own name....just invites trouble.

Not sure who it was from I was just pointing out when the entitled ones tweets get posted on here you Hawk fans get really sensitive

Well, labeling a high school Junior is pretty weird for an adult and I call it out.

LaVall Jordan - Butler's current HC. Has impressive wins over Villanova and Ohio State. He probably won't get a look though because he was an assistant coach at Iowa under Todd Lickliter.

The list of candidates probably starts with Ben Jacobson.

Another guy that should probably get a look is Dan Hurley - current HC at Rhode Island. He's probably going to be getting a lot of job offers this off-season. Similar to Fran because he's an east-coast guy, so that may work against him, but maybe that could help keep Garza in town if there were a coaching change. RI's recruiting class for 2018 is rated #30 (per 247).

It was. My daughter is friends with Patrick and I saw it.

There's also one you can find and it's from a Hawk fan as well.

I can't see a scenario where St. John's would settle for Fran...
