Id probably add TCU and Baylor to that list as well.
I thought about adding Baylor too, I think I'd rather beat KSU than TCU just because it's been so long

The loss of King and Johnson are huge, but Iowa only loses one at each level for 2017, as Jewel has already said he is returning. Also, it appears Matt VandeBerg will get a fifth year, but more importantly all five of lineman that started yesterday are back. Oh, and that Wadley guy is back!
I would think Wadley is back, but RBs only have some many carries before they wear down. He is an NFL type back, with great speed and shiftyness. I could see him entering draft early.
How is it possible that VandeBerg gets another year but Pat Scoggins is doubtful to? Makes zero sense.
VandeBerg played as a true freshman and didn't redshirt. Scoggins redshirted.

Scoggins has also missed two full years due to injury.
Whenever it comes down to 'Who do you most want to beat?', K-State's name is prominent. Yes, I believe ISU fans, generally, want to beat K-State more than any other conference team. Are you denying that?
Always get a kick out of Cyclone fans projecting wins over K-State particularly at Manhattan. My goodness.
I talked to an A+ source yesterday. Coach Snyder's not going anywhere but to his office for the foreseeable future.
And he returns almost everyone from this year's squad, sans #75 Jordan Willis. If junior linebacker Elijah Lee leaves early, coach will have some holes on the defensive side. But the league's best offensive line returns 5 of 6 starters. The starting backfield returns in tact. And a 5* Cal transfer joins the receiving corps.
Good luck in MHK.

I always get a kick out of opposing fans getting a kick out of Iowa State fans projections on an IOWA STATE site.

I'm surprised that you see us handling TCU but not Baylor or K-State...Minimum expectation:
W UNI (gawd, I hope so)
L Iowa
W at Akron (gawd, I hope so)
Conf (alpha order)
L at Baylor
W KU
L at K-State
L at Oklahoma
L Oklahoma State
W TCU
L Texas
W at Texas Tech
L at West Virginia
5-7 (3-6)
FWIW, that has been my standard prediction almost every year since about ’09. But I see more swing-games/potential-to-steal W’s within that framework than I typically do (Iowa, BU, Texas, West Virginia). Campbell needs to get to a bowl.

A little off topic for this thread, but FWIW I have heard there is a very good chance that Cotton Moya will not be back next season. But not 100% sure at this point in time.
