Oakland fans: SELL THE TEAM!!!
Me: to whom? Nobody is buying that team while they’re still forced to play in the Oakland Coliseum. And it’s not like they haven’t actively been seeking a new stadium nearby for the last two decades. Oakland literally cannot afford to build them a new stadium, and with baseball’s archaic territory rules, the Giants literally won’t let them build anywhere it financially makes sense (especially San Jose). And it’s absolutely hypocritical out of the Giants because the A’s literally ceded them that territory as a favor when the Giants desperately needed it in the 1990s. And BTW… you A’s fans have shown up to games by the hundreds all season long. Vegas announces they all but have a stadium deal in place for the A’s and NOW you show up by the tens of thousands demanding the owner sell to someone that will force the team to keep playing in the worst stadium in all of pro sports? I mean, way to show up now.
Bottom line is the A’s cannot stay in Oakland.

Anthony Rizzo was hitting .300 when he had a collision at first, hurt his neck and missed a couple games. Since he's been back he's in the worse slump of his career. Currently 2 for 36 since the collision, both singles. Yeah, he's huritn' but playing.
Been to a couple of Madison Mallards games and those were fun. Basically just a beer tent with a game going on. FWIW the organizers do a nice job of getting crowds there.
Their mascot came to a school I worked in once and all indications were they were pretty high.
Lol the Bucks mascot had a funny interaction with my son once. Information I learned later, turns out the guy in the costume was actually a convict doing community service at the game.
Those games are a lot of fun, but yeah, it’s definitely more “hanging out with a baseball game in the background”
It would be an interesting discussion to have, but probably one that would need to happen in the cave or via a group pm
Great… so if the Twins win their lifeless division, they are almost guaranteed to play the Yankees…. the final wildcard team.
