Seems like a really smart time to sell that franchise
Could also be a smart time to buy if the O's young talent can bring about a decade of winning baseball.
Will be curious what new ownership group's working relationship is with the current front office and baseball ops. Do the O's borrow a page from Braves and sign some of their young studs to long-term deals early.
Would also think this new ownership may actually sign some higher priced free agents for once.
Yeah, next off-season there is a bigger group of FA starting pitchers. Would think they go that direction in spending as their young talent is heavy tilt toward position players.

Until you said this I couldn’t figure out what team the “M” and “S” flag cap was for.
Minneapolis and St. Paul, I’m guessing.
That’s a lot of money for the Royals, but have to admit that the kid is a stud and probably worth it.
Royals building a new downtown ballpark may help their financials a bit if they do it right.
I'm not sure why, I am normally very much a baseball purist... but I freakin' love that hat.
