Right, but in comparison to Iowa who potentially has: Weiskamp, Frederick, and Ke. Murray all returning. IMO Murray has the tools to be great, so it will be interesting to see what kind of work he puts in during the off season. Patrick Mac has had flashes as well. I don't think Iowa is going to have the success they did this year, but I think they'll be dancing and getting bounced before the Sweet Sixteen again next year.
JW is not likely coming back.

JW is gone and Frederick may transfer. There’s no chance Patrick is coming off the bench next year. The post target Iowa is likely going to get averages 6 points for Washington State.
Where is this Fredrick rumor from? I have heard nothing of the sort.

Not even sure how you could at this point. Players are leaving ISU and TJ is trying to clean house. Won't even call one of the Prohm commits. Will see if he is able to attract any high end transfer talent. Iowa's season hinges on whether or not Lil' Weezy comes back or not.
I'm almost, almost to the point of thinking Iowa's season may depend more on post play. You've had an unbelievable post talent the last few years, and while Jack may be decent, he's not a "banger."
Pat will probably need to play the 4 a lot, and needs to put on some lbs.

Its come up here before and now has been brought up on a Kentucky website as well as speculated by Kentucky radio host Matt Jones.
I mean he’s on the Kentucky website among other players who haven’t even put their names in the portal? All seems like guys they would just like to get

with all the Weezy chatter leaving for the pros, is he graduating? If so he's gone, if not he seems like a guy that would get his degree first?

I answered Iowa only in that they'll return more experience and play in the Big 10. 14 teams and a lot of bottom feeders to water it down.

Sure, but they didn’t just point at CJ on the television and say “he’s transferring” lol. And Iowa just lost yesterday. I’d presume if CJ were transferring he would at least wait to get back to IC.

I have no other info other than there have been multiple people saying they’ve heard something. That’s it.

transferring, attitudes (Poor and Good) are contagious. When one jumps ship, and realistic kids start looking at whats comming back. It makes it an easier decision leave. This situation is a program kliller. Regardless, Fran needs to get on top of this and get answers ASAP.

Just gonna take a stab at this for fun:

Iowa - Starting 5

CJ
Conner Mac
Patty Mac
the good Murray twin
Nunge

Bench:
Perkins, the other Twin, Ogundele, and brother of D-League player

Gone:
Garza (time to get paid) Jorbo (no way he comes back without Garza) Weiskamp (same as Jorbo and could make some money, although I don't think he's NBA material yet) and Joe T (transferring after being disrespected by Fran all year).

Don't know who Iowa has coming in for recruits, but in the above scenario, Hawk fans better pray that at least one is ready to contribute immediately. Fran may have to explore the transfer market/jucos to round out the roster. This team would not make the NIT. With Weiskamp they would.

Iowa State:

Too early to tell as there will be a ton of moving pieces still. BUT- if the above scenario holds true and that is Iowa's team next year, ISU could absolutely jump them quickly.

You thinking that, as well as thinking you’ll make a sweet 16 in two years is not any different than some ISU fans thinking we will be a good team next year. Could they all happen? Yes. Will any of them happen? Probably not.
Better watch your mouth, son. I'm no Hawk fan.
JW is not likely coming back.
Where the **** does he think he's going? The NBA? To do what? Weiskamp is a nice player, but I expected him to show a little more improvement from last year to this year considering there was conversations about him leaving last year.
