Regarding this up coming season

So much fail in the "logic."

Your negative comments are just words right now. Fact

Last year means nothing. Fact.

This years team is not last years. Fact

"Fans" beating down the Cyclones for games that haven't even been played yet?

Priceless and Hawkesque.

D@m* you! You blew my Hawkeye cover! Now my 43 years disguised as a loyal Cyclone fan is all for naught. Thanks a lot buddy.

Usually, it's best to avoid the stabbing altogether.
But front is as good as back. Maybe better if you want them to see it coming.

Are you backstabbing right now?

I am not backstabbing, certainly not backstabbing you!

Not that there are not a few posters I would not brake for but they are mostly on ignore.

On a side note...heard the Iowa Oline got lit up today in Iowa's open practice. Both tackles got destroyed. Granted OTT is very good but he ain't chad greenway. Iowa couldn't run ball at all. Not much has changed in Iowa city.

And that same team has taken 3 of the last 4 from our BCS rival to the east.

I would rather get to bowl games over beating Iowa every year. People who are content with this team and its results are content with beating Iowa every year and going 2-10. Give me 6 wins and I couldnt care whether we beat Iowa or not.

I want six wins w/ one being the hawks, to keep my relatives shut up.

You really need to move on. "This year's team" is completely different than last year's team. So just stop.

We need to change the "culture" of our Fanbase in much the same way that we have changed the "culture" of our football team. Remove the Cancerous Attitudes.

Cyclone fans are optimistic about the coming season. WHY do you continually want to throw a Cold Bucket of Negativity on their enthusiasm? What is it that makes you continually do that?

Love it when people act like winning every game isn't important. No game is more important than another.

Hate to break that to you. People saying that isu has been handling the hawks aren't saying anything more than that fact.

The fact that it bothers cyclone fans to hear that is what's mind boggling.

News flash....isu fans want to win every game.

I'll say that JTS is almost eerie with the SEZ. It's like you're watching ISU in a venue that you've never been to before but seems vaguely familiar. Guess what I'm saying is that it's a completely different stadium. We'll see what it looks like when it's full of fans and the video boards and ribbon boards are running.

It's extremely impressive looking, but its going to take some time to feel like home.

I am getting pretty sick of the endless whining about last year. Yes it was horrible, I am not going to try and work my way around that. As far as I can see the coaches have made some pretty big changes in recruiting, kick some bad apples off the team, and worked very hard at trying to change the culture of the program. The year before they replaced half of the coaching staff. All of this may or maynot work, but the assumption that this year is going to go just like last year is getting old.

A loss to UNI would pretty much loose the fan base, including me, but that has not happened yet. If that happens then the fans will revolt as they should.

Thanks for the description. I can't wait to enter the stadium for the first time. But we actually added a couple of tix and moved to the south endzone from section G, so I'm a bit bummed I won't be able to soak in the new structure from elsewhere in the stadium.
