Once Upon a Time in Hollywood

I realize this movie has been discussed in other, past, movie related threads, and I remember there being very mixed reviews on this board when it came out and in the near immediate couple weeks after it’s release. Some down right hated it (naming it as the worst movie they had seen lately in one thread).

I really enjoyed the movie when it first came out in theaters, and I have watched it quite a few times again (nothing else to do) on STARZ. I personally feel like the movie gets better for me each time I watch it. I pick up on something new, little Easter eggs I didn’t notice before, more appreciation for certain scenes, etc.

Now that it has been on STARZ for a while, I was wondering if anyone has had a chance to take in another (or more) viewing lately, and if additional viewings changed your opinion of it, one way or the other.

Friday OT: COVID Playlist

I've got a crazy-long Spotify quarantine playlist of COVID- or quarantine-related songs. A few:

"Don't Stand So Close to Me" - The Police
"Gimme Shelter" - Rolling Stones
"Between Two Lungs" - Florence + the Machine
"Try Not to Breathe" - R.E.M.
"Untouchable Face" - Ani DiFranco
"Nobody Else Will Be There" - The National
"Bleach" - Brockhampton
"How To Fight Loneliness" - Wilco

What are some of your relevant songs?

Iowa fans rubbing in cyclone fans faces how many get drafted..

So just thinking about this and I haven’t done the research.... yeah year over year they get a lot more drafted but with that being said if they have so much more talent why doesn’t that show up in their season records and winning major bowl games and being a contender for they national championships ..... and over let’s say the course of the last 12-15 years how many Hawkeye players make rosters and actually have decent careers in the nfl vs how many cyclones that make rosters and also have decent careers . I’m sure some of you guys that are far better than me in looking into this can get better numbers and names of this stuff.

Jeremiah Francis

Jeremiah Francis, an Ohio Native Freshman PG is leaving my Tar Heels, which i'm not happy about.

He was a bright spot Carolina, and honestly kind of shocked he's leaving. Don't let the Stat Line fool you, he's going to be a good College PG. I'd love to see Iowa State get involved.

Was a Top 50 High School Player before injury in 2017 that I just got healthy from this year. Kid has LOTS of Upside moving forward.

Maybe we can get some luck on the Transfer market!

INSIDER: Updated Michael Flowers information

So there's a report out that the Western Michigan transfer is making his decision tomorrow at 3, and Iowa State is in the top 4.

From what I understand, Iowa State hasn't even offered. I referenced this last weekend here on the forum.

So do not expect Flowers to say Iowa State tomorrow afternoon.

From what I understand, Iowa State had a discussion with him early on and the young man keeps mentioning them in his lists, but that's about it. It never went past that.

To the best of my knowledge, Flowers will not be a Cyclone.
