Background: I'm 15 years into a Civil Engineering career. I have a BS and MS in Civil from ISU. I'm a licensed professional engineer with technical and managerial experience. I spent the first 8 years of my career in technical roles. From there, I have primarily held roles in business development, sales, and engineering project management.

I'm interested in an operations management role (think COO long-term). I took a position with a very small company about a year ago with the plan for this role to grow into an Ops Director>VP of Ops>COO progression. At minimum, I had hoped to get real experience building/leading a significant part of an organization. BUT that's not really working out so far.

I'm considering an MBA to help me get into the specific role I'm seeking or transition to another industry to do this type of role.

Anyone done this? I'd like to hear your experience.

Long time ISU season ticket holder. Youngest son is graduating from ….. Iowa next spring. Good thing is I’ve only seen him in an Iowa shirt once. Today I noticed I was missing about 1,000 points from yesterday. I wasn't sure if I was hacked, or the points expired. I went to the transactions history on the app and don't see anything. The points just seemed to disappear.

Anyone else having these issues? Click on my app and the red cyclone fanatic screen pops up and it doesn’t go to the main page. Had to log in on internet explorer to see this.

It is really hard to watch a Cyclone great get waived from a professional team simply because there are too few teams in the WNBA.

12 teams is not enough and if the WNBA wants to reach their full potential, they need to look to expand into different markets.

Hey all. Found this CFB predictor. It handles all the conferences in college football and even does an overall field. So far I've just made my Big 12 picks on it. Here's what I got on my first run. I didn't predict Noncon although you can do that too. Might be a bit low on Texas but given that they always drop the ball I don't feel too awful about it
