I agree....i think (IF HE EVEN STARTS) they will both be about the same as last year. The offense we run doesnt exactly lend itself to huge statistical numbers for the QB.
Oh but its so easy to sit behind a username and spew this crap on CF, tell it to him yourself, you can see him before every game.

If they had there probably would be no QB controversy. Your last question is silly so I'm not even going to entertain it.
thats just a mentally weak argument. Because ANY of us havent started as a freshman Qb......you cant critique one? And if you have never recruited.....you can in no way critique or question a coach?

I think both QBs have a chance to make decent improvements. Both showed at times that they have talent, they just lack consistency. The best thing to improve consistency is practice and experience. They both saw live bullets and have had spring, summer, and will have fall to practice.
We don't need either QB to explode this year. Moderate improvement should be enough with a solid run game and defense to score more points.
I'm very curious to see if the WR corps improves as a whole or not. Money was hit or miss. DD was mostly miss. He was very good a disappearing for long periods of time. I think Lenz is more consistent than both the Darius' but may not have the spectacular ability that Money had. Gary looked very solid last year and made tough catches. More time in the system should be good for him. West is electric and any improved consistency should help the offense as a whole. Horne shoed flashes especially with run after the catch. The newcomers will be really interesting. If any of them can really get some PT, Bundrage looks like the favorite here, they could shake things up a lot.
My point is, between you two Hawk fans, its pretty easy to sit behind a username every day and do nothing but bash the coaches and players.
I really like Bundrage.....his frame is outstanding for a young kid. I think the WR's will be better basically addition by subtraction.

Fine I think Barnett will be better than Peyton Manning and find the footspeed of Michael Vick when he changes the kind of cleats he wears. He will then crush every known division one single season Quarterback record and **** my mom.
You don't think a half year of game experience each and additional practice time will lead to any improvment?
Do you think they just have so little talent that they will never be any better than they were last year?
In general, at almost every position, players improve from their RS Freshman year to they RS Sophmore year, especially if they get extensive playing time as RSFr.

I think we should expect to see improvement. It isnt like they were stellar overall last year. Both had flashes of brilliance, and i think you have to expect better from them if they hope to remain qb. At least i would hope so.. most people dont get worse at things as they gain experience.
