Who was the numbnut troll saying TJ was a complete collapse?? That ball tugger should get bounced for being so dumb.

My oldest son was a sophomore in HS when Jobo was a freshmen in college. They are both done with college in May.Did the crowd chant "Four more years" at Jorbo last night? That would be a good troll job.

If you look at the numbers you can already see improvement.I'm actually surprised that Hunter is shooting such a low percentage from three. I thought he was going to be better there. Do ISU fans think it is just a freshman thing and think he will improve a lot next year, or is he just a poor three point shooter?
They have a few what I would call bad losses this year. Penn State, Michigan, and Rutgers. All games they should've won, only difference this year is only 1 of them was in February.I will say, Iowa is doing exactly what they should be doing against these weak teams on their schedule, just beating the crap out of them. They would have lost to one of these teams in year's past and I think they get at least 1 of the next 2.
This is really their whole deal- eight of their eleven Big 10 wins are against teams that are a combined 25-65 in league play (Nebraska 2x, Penn State, Maryland 2x, Minnesota 2x, and Northwestern. Unbelievable how bad the bottom third of that league is. But Hawk fans and media look the other way on this fact and just float about being 7-1 in February, blah blah blah. And then they wonder why they haven’t made it out of the first weekend of the NCAA’s in 22 years. They have a few what I would call bad losses this year. Penn State, Michigan, and Rutgers. Otherwise yes, they have fed off of weak opposition. Same as what they do every Nov-Dec in their non con. Their Big 10 wins aside from Ohio State and Michigan State are against the bottom feeders. Michigan State for whatever reason had been reeling too when they came into Iowa City last week. They came out their next game and beat Purdue, so maybe that ass-whooping Iowa gave them is what they needed to dig their heads out.
I guess I'm just not that impressed. What they do can look gaudy and impressive, but not when you really put it under a microscope. It's kind of like putting lipstick on a pig.
It's becoming abundantly clear that fans and media completely ignore quality of opponent when determining which way a team is trending. Iowa beats up on some crap teams and they're playing "great". Clones win four in a row against the bottom of the league and they're trending up. These things need context... not black and white with Ws and Ls.This is really their whole deal- eight of their eleven Big 10 wins are against teams that are a combined 25-65 in league play (Nebraska 2x, Penn State, Maryland 2x, Minnesota 2x, and Northwestern. Iowa St has turned it around against the latter half of the conference, true. But tons of metrics and ranking systems out there tell the story that one thing is not like the other. In other words, the bottom half of the Big 10 is much worse than the latter half of the Big 12. I know it's like putting lipstick on a pig so to speak, but Iowa State was certainly trending down and even at the bottom of the heap at one point. They're not anymore. Iowa is just stacking cheap wins on top of mediocrity. It's becoming abundantly clear that fans and media completely ignore quality of opponent when determining which way a team is trending. Doesn't matter how things are called if a team can defend their guards and has a solid post game they will be toast. I'll be curious to see how they do in the tourney and how the tourney is called - If it's called like the Big 12 is this year, they are probably 1-1 again. If it's called tighter, I'm saying it now Fran finally gets over the hump and makes the S16.

Davis' best teams were Raveling's recruits.Does Fran have to send Tom Davis thank you cards every time he gets a legacy player?

This. Anyone that thinks...whoa...NOW they are in sync and scary. Just stop. Look at last year...they went on a winning streak at the end of the year just like this, beating below average teams, and even beating Michigan State ON THE ROAD by 30. Are they bad? No. Are they good? Yes. Can they make a run? Sure...but so can many teams. Their guards are gonna be exploited in the tourney.
