Progress? Clealy you are drinking this loss away. Besides cherry-picking a few stats, there has been no progress. This year is almost a carbon copy of a year ago. Actually watch the games. Win or lose, we largely play the same. We leave a lot of simple football plays on the field. The main factor is whether the other team will out-stumble us.
He gets his players to like him, so what? We need less emotion and more football development.

I for one have zero problem with a coach having success and bolting. Everyone expected chizik to do that and everyone would have been largely ok with that, as it would have set us up for the next step higher with the next coach.

If you would have asked this question a year before GMac was going to be sent off to Creighton, would anyone mention Hoiberg? That's why they have a firm help do this. Simply using "Who would you have as your next coach?" is a cop out response for people defending CPR. FTR, I wouldn't fire him after this year, I just find people who use that statement as a last resort when they can't back up what they say.
