We just need to win one of these games. No one outside of this fanbase realizes how good this team is or how good our record easily could be. We have some legitimate studs (Bibbs, Montgomery, Lazard, Mutcherson) and some kids that are becoming true gamers (S. Richardson, Wimberly, Tribune, and Farni). These guys deserve to win one of these games, and it might just happen two weeks from today.
So close to being a solid team.

Being unwilling to discuss anything that went well is for somebody who clearly does not inspire to intelligence.
The problem is we never win these close games unless we're playing Iowa...tonight was inexcusable.
I'm so sick of the hype. I'll believe it when I see it. Just when the offense gets it going the defense regresses.
Year after year is the same story. "We were so close to winning these games! We're going to break through."

The positive is that our offense just shredded the #3 defense in the country. They are light years ahead of where they were early in the year. Unfortunately, I think we game planned to force their young quarterback into mistakes, and it backfired.

Two years of losing. Two. Iowa state has never been at a point where bowl seasons are bad. If you think so, you picked wrong team.
The frusrating part part is that some of you act like Rhoads has won 2 games every year. dont blame him for 100 years of ****** fb.
Last year we wouldn't have even been in this game. If you want to actually discuss the game, by all means please do. If you want to just point out that we lost and our record is poor, most of us have figured that out already.
Offense looks good, should be enough to get Tech and Kansas I think, although the Tech game could be interesting with our defense. Maybe we get lucky and snag the WVU game. Don't see OU or TCU happening. I think it looks like 4-8 this season. Maybe the year after that we can go 5-7 and keep adding one win over the last...
