Rob Howe just destroyed the KXNO

I agree, but Perrault just gets enraged when anyone tells him he doesn't know what he's talking about, and he then starts shouting and interrupting. Howe wouldn't let him do that, and kept talking over him, with a legitimate point that Perrault "just throws crap against the wall and sees what sticks."
What got Howe mad was Perrault insisting that Stanzi "had to know" about DJK. What qualifies Parrault to know this? He never goes to IC, never goes to pressers.
How would Perrualt or Miller have any insight at all? They just sit in their studio.
I think Howe was asking the same question.
 
If anyone listened yesterday Matty was saying that they just can't drop players names who may or may not be associated because it would be wrong to do that and they (meaning him and Ken) could lose their jobs.

lol, could this be the end of giggles?

I agree, should never had thrown stanzi into the discussion.
 
I enjoy Murph and Andy but when they are done at 4PM I change the station. Matt and Miller is simply a whine fest....can't listen to it.

I suppose, but all he was saying is that it would be hard not to know DJK was using if you were practicing with him day after day. They never had a conversation?

I just think everyone was a little sensitve to Stanzi's name for some stupid reason. Matt wasn't saying he did drugs with DJK for god's sake.

Exactly. Matt's a tool, but what he actually said wasn't all that bad, as long as he wasn't actually accusing Stanzi of drug use.
 
I actually thought Howe was completely out of line. They were debating/yelling over an issue, and Howe made it personal with some jabs at Matt. Say what you want about MP, but he had every right to question whether others knew about it. Rob was naive and threw out insults left and right....all in all..great radio. It even got Marty Tirrell talking about it about 15 minutes after it happened while BOTH shows were on the air!
 
Hawk fans just love spreading the wealth of compliments around when they are doing well, but can NEVER place blame on their almighty Hawks.

They love looking the other way just as much as the staff.
 
Went over to read HN thread on this to get a recap on this. I completely agree with most of them. Matt you had some of my respect. That is now gone.
 
Jeesh, too many of you guys listen to 1460 and threads like this shows his boss that. So, he'll never go away if these daily threads continue.
And why do I even post a response on this thread you ask? To hopefully sway some of you away from that clown and the station that employs him.

Really? REALLY? You respected him after the crap he pulled on Iowa STate, but it was an arguement about a possibly shady Iowa football program that sent you over the edge.

This is why our fans sometimes suck.

End thread right now. Matts a ****** but Rob Howe sounded like a giant *****. That question was in no way out of line. Typical Hawkeye reporters/message board owners who get miffed when someone ever ?"s Iowa and KF.

Expecting Ricky Stanzi to know what's going with drug dealers and his starting wide receiver is ludacris (Luda!) on Matt's part. Ricky clearly decided to focus his efforts on Dirty Hippies that hate America.

Had Howe made that point I could get on board with his side of the argument.

There is a possibility that Ricky Stanzi may have sat in on a class with a communist. Yes, the American quarterback, the "Love it or leave it, USA No. 1" quarterback, might have shared class space with a Marxist, socialist or communist. We are talking Iowa City and the University of Iowa.
