RECRUITING: Morrow to Marquette

The Juiston and Morrow misses will haunt us next year. I think Prohm is a good relationship builder which will bode well in the high school recruiting. However I think we have enough data points over the last two years to show us that the high level transfer market is going to be extremely difficult for this staff.

Beverly is a positive piece from my standpoint but the Princeton kid does nothing for me. The staff will need to see a high level of success from the high school commits from the last two years in order to get back to the NCAA Tourney in 2018-19.

Sure would have helped had we not been put into this situation by a certain someone.

That horse has beaten to death a dozen times and I agree, but talking about it isn't going to change the situation. We had an opportunity to really improve our outlook for this season with 4 open schollies and couldn't get it done.

If the average transfer takes 4 visits, then the answer would be 25% commitment rate.

Do we know that the average transfer takes 4 visits?

IF that is true, I would contend that getting 1 out of 5 is not that awful bad. Not great. Not good. But not the worst.

And that's the thing, we all freak the hell out because we have only got one transfer so far. But we need to at least know how bad that is.
