Bitterness is petty. He's a man, he's made his decision. I don't agree that he's got a championship caliber roster, but if Fred does then wth do I know?
So much of that seemed awkward to me, but I'm sure he'll get used to it. Not sure the full reality has actually set in yet, but I think some beers are in order tonight.
The real question for me is whether I like Fred enough to outweigh how much I suddenly hate everything about GarPax. It's a tough sell.

Um, he lasted exactly one more year as coach at ISU than Tim Floyd. "Dream Job". I thought the world of FH, but he has earned it.
I'm rooting for Fred and the Bulls. There are more people on this team than that wacky Gar creature and Pax.
Well, would you root for Fred if he went to the hawks. I know most people in Iowa don't watch the NBA, but some of us follow teams and root hard against other ones.
Thought he sounded just a little nervous on the radio but fine. I thought he came across just fine like expected. Don't know how you could be bitter after he spent the first 5-10 minutes talking about ISU and Ames, WHILE interviewing in Chicago with the Bulls. Come on man... If the players are happy for him you need to get over yourselves.
For me, the bitterness isn't that he left, it's how this whole thing went down and the franchise that he chose to do it with.
