***Official ISU/KSU Postgame Thread***

I'm sick of losing to K-State like this. Basically the same show as last year's lost to Texas.

But it was an improvement over last week. That's really all I ask at this point. Wins will come if we keep improving.

Unbelievable we lost that game. So many chances to win.

Why are we running it with AW straight up the gut?

West was big, but his two "drops" were huge. That INT should mute all those wanting Sam to force it every down. We do not have the receivers for that to work consistently.

No second half points and no turnovers forced. Aren't going to win many games that way.

This, especially the turnovers. We need to create more stress/pressure on offenses to create TO's. Won't do that playing with a 10 yard cushion.

We played 10x+ better than last week. I'm not really unhappy at all (on the whole)

1) Wally and the D did everything they could, and needed to.

2) We can see what the O is capable of - but need more consistency. 0 points in the second half? Really? And only 21 overall. Not sure that'll get it done in any game this season. Toledo and KU included.

3) I will never, ever understand why on 3rd and short you take the ball off the line. I know we play out of the shotgun, but that play took a 4th and 1 a 4th and 6 and took a 4th down play - or even a fake punt- out of consideration.

4) Glad to see CPR send Lazard to the locker room after shooting his mouth off at the end of the half. Nice job dip-****.

5) Wouldn't be a BigXII game if we didn't get ****ed by the officials, would it? And twice - the non-review at the end of the half, and the inexplicable one in the 3rd when it stopped us from the quick snap on 4th and 1.

It wasn't Lazard running his mouth. Lazard is #5 not #53

It sucks we lost. 99% is wins and losses. But I am feeling better about the Clones program after this game after last weeks's debacle.

You a new fan? If you had a penny for every time you feel better about the Clones program after a game like this, you'd have a dollar by now.

And the Clones program would remain unchanged...

This game has the reminiscence of Texas last season. The team looked beyond horrible. The season looked lost. The fans were starting to turn away. Then they had Texas beat, only to end up with a loss. The fans were interested gain. It looked like the were going to turn the corner and save the season. Then the team looked like straight garbage again until the last two games against the worst two teams in the conference. It seemed as though they put there all in against Texas, only to come up empty. I have a feeling the same thing happened today. Everyone was giving up on the team. Players were quitting, fans were turning away again. Then they came so close to beating the #20 team in the country and it appears at this point that they can salvage a season out of this.

It feels like Texas 2013 all over again.

Seriously? Sam had nothing to do with that INT.

Alot of season left. I think there are still 6 wins out there, especially with each week us getting more used to the offense. I feel a little better after this game, unfortunately though our next two games will be very tough.

Agreed but I thought our secondary played very well, especially Tribune. No fault on their end.
True, more fault onto Wally and CPR imo. Cushion? As needed, but should never have to give 10 yards like we were doing consistently today.
