You can spin it many ways but the fact is he had committed to the program and to the team, he was therefore a member of the team. I don't care if all the papers had been signed or not, he was a member of the team when it happened. Spinning things like that only lead to complacency or an era of ambiguity, that won't be what happens at Iowa State going forward.

That won't happen here going forward? My god, we better only recruit Mormons.

Blanket statements like that only make people look silly.

I would think that Jiri 6 game suspension will be small at a minimum to what McD would do to Mike to get him back on the team. Frankly I am tired of plaayers being here one or two years and then disappearing for off court decisions, mistakes, lack of academics. Will ISU be penalized for a poor graduating rate?

Why has no one responded to the poster that said that he heard through the person that is putting together the men's banquet that Taylor is off the team?? That's huge if true.

Because the coaching staff has not yet made decisions regarding Taylor's future. They (like we should) will wait until the legal process is completed and ALL the facts are on the table.

I haven't read this whole thing so I don't know if this has been reported, but channel 13 reported that he discharged a fire extinguisher, and destroyed some lights and an exit sign in an apartment building.
