what the hell is the love fest for TJ
I'm not one pumping the TJ sunshine up everyone's behind but TJ did bring in the best recruit ever to ISU... That's probably a good place to start.

maybe Romar's going to get fired next year and TJ wanted to leave on his own terms instead of being part of a staff that gets the axeOne follow-up question. What was Romar talking about?

Maybe Fred was waiting to see if TJ was going to get this job and if not, take him to Chicago with him?

So you think he hasn't learned anything after seeing what's worked and what hasn't at ISU?4 years under McD, only 3 under Fred. Maybe he would have "promoted" McD ball?
This isn't rocket science guys... if Prohm wants him on his staff and if TJ wants to be part of his staff then it's a no brainer you retain TJ but if either side has issues with this relationship chances are it will not happen. When was the last time you heard any team's fan base talk in such detail all the time about their assistants like we do? You don't because assistant coaches are a dime a dozen and jump around all the time, to think that TJ is a make or break hire to retain is nuts. Would we all love to see him stay? Probably yes but there is no point in it if there is not a mutual desire for him and Prohm to work together. Pretty sure Prohm didn't get this job without having a good idea of what his staff will look like when he interviewed for the job over the weekend much like probably anyone that interviewed including TJ himself.
TJ got offered the head asst coaching position at Kentucky by Calipari. Even if he stays this year, he is going to be gone after that.
I'm sure that happened and he chose to come here as an assistant instead.
Well I'm never defending anyone on here ever again.
