Pathetic ******* effort by a bunch of prima donnas who don't give a ****. This is not Prohm's fault. These guys think they're too good to be coached.
This team does not deserve to be ranked. I fully expect this season to get ****** down our legs now and become a full-on dumpster fire. Unranked and on the bubble by March. Mark it down.

I'm done. Losing Naz did us in. this team is too stressful to watch. They give you hope and then take it from you and stomp on it. Being a Cyclone fan sucks sometimes

All this game does is show that the team hasn't learned a thing from last year. Would it shock anyone at all if this team lost to a low level school team in the 1st round of the ncaa TV again? Not me. This team doesn't have the eye of the tiger.
Yeah, McKay and Deonte both look lazy on defense. Sometimes you have to take a foul just to show you might challenge.
I had previously expected 5-7 but today proved we don't have the guts or grit to put teams away.
Prohm is terrible. All this talk of how he inherited a final four team and we cant even beat UNI or Baylor at home after Kansas beat them by 35. Horrible, horrible coaching. How bad will we suck next year after we lose 5 starters?
Also, we really only play 5 guys, Burton and Cooke cant even give 2 minutes of production in Big 12 games.

This is what happens when the previous coach takes a 1-2 year recruiting hiatus and doesn't bother teaching defense...
Why the loss? Can't hit free throws at critical times. Don't know how to put their foot on the opponents throat when you have then down. Giving up too many offensive boards. Defense that is as pourous as a sponge. This is just an average team right now. If they play with this low level effort the rest of the season they will end up with 7-8 conference losses easy.
McKay has one skill: dunking. That's it. He's a pathetic ******* defender, he's weak with the ball on offense and he probably airs on 90% of his block attempts.
