This is spot on. Prohm's Murray State teams looked desperate in win, always giving full effort. I wonder how many of these players Prohm really enjoys coaching. I won't judge him until he gets his own players here...

This has been driving me nuts especially in conference play, and it's not just McKay. Teams are getting transition opportunities when they're starting even with us, they are just running harder than we do. Oklahoma got a couple 3 on 1's off of missed shots just by outhustling us to the other end. The one where Spangler airballed the layup was even a 4 on 1.

Bolded part is true, but this certainly is not the same Baylor team we lost to last year. Lot of work to do if we want to make a run in the NCAA. IMO, just like last year, we could lose to anyone at anytime, so be prepared for that.
The part that made me throw up in my mouth a bit was that after they got up by ten early in the game, they looked like they thought they were awesome and just mailed it in for the next 5-7 minutes.
Absolutely. I don't get all the remaining Hoiberg love on this board. He absolutely ****ed ISU in the ***. I don't care what he says, he used his alma mater as a stepping stone and couldn't leave fast enough. When he knew he was setup for an NBA job, he stopped working. He dropped ISU like a bloody tampon on the sidewalk.
He doesnt do anything. I rarely seeing him getting upset at players or getting on the refs. Hoiberg was suppose to be mild-mannered and he showed at least yelled at players and got a T once in awhile. Prohm also lets them play until the other team has managed to rattle of 10 straight points and we are gassed before using a timeout.

He's not even CLOSE to an NBA player unless he gets his defensive swagger back and he is ONLY used as a defender. He would be absolutely owned as an offensive player in the NBA and even the best leagues in Europe. However, he's a risk. Even defensive first guys in the NBA can make point blank layups. McKay? He needs to be able to do that instead of throwing a fastball at the backboard. Not to mention that people easily steal the ball out of his hands.
I hate to give the guy crap because he seems like a great guy, but he has to know he's not NBA ready. He'll be playing in Europe, maybe - could be worse though. I'd take a 6 figure salary to play in Italy, Greece, Spain, Croatia, etc.

Yeah, Burton couldnt even give 1 minute of solid production and defense before Niang had to come back in. We have no bench at all. Cooke is completely outmatched out there and Burton looks disinterested the last couple games.
Perhaps call a timeout before Baylor can go on a 13 point run, instead of after. Or how about this in general, call timeouts to stifle an opponents big run instead of calling a timeout while we are on the verge of a big run, thus stifling your own team's run!
Calling guys soft is rather funny too. Esp when same trolls talk about the team toughness, grit, etc after a big win.

I think we are an 11-7 conference team. About what we should have expected when Naz went down and what we started the year with. Will lose to KU at home and 5 road games.
