Iowa Penn State thread

at least there is a team from iowa that can manage a game and finish. ISU couldn't close a door, much less a game.

Big Ten team out of BCS game = Big 12 team in another BCS game = 2 Big 12 teams in BCS game = $500k for ISU.
I'll take it.

Just a rule thing, for my benefit.

If the PSU kid could've fielded the ball cleanly AND called a fair catch. They would've had one play and :01 from about the 30, right?

And could've potentially kicked a game winning FG?

Jesus Christ, you're kidding right?

No, we are not. Big10 Football sucks. You have two good teams, OSU and PSU, one decent team, MSU, and the rest suck. Bad. Only PSU and OSU would even finish in the top half of either the SEC or the Big12.

Either way, nice win for Iowa. They stepped up and won a statement game today. Oh, and ISU still isn't good, at all. And they hung with Iowa.

If I were that blonde from PSU they just showed on ABC - I'd be getting out of town ASAP.

You are about to come face to face with about 100K most completely obnoxious euphoric morons.

I bet the itchy clock operator would have let the clock run fast. How did the clock go from 6 secs to 1 sec on the prior FG kick?

Further proof the Little11 sucks if the #4 team in the country can blow it against the Hawks

Ben Bruns and Chuck Reed said the same thing. Penn St. had the #65 SOS and had the Big 10's best win OOC against Oregon St. The Big 10 continues to flex its might with Illinois laying down to Western Michigan and a couple of weeks ago Michigan losses at home against Toledo. Michigan then goes out and destroys Minnesota. Only in the Big 10 or Big East could a team like Minnesota go from 1-11 to their current record.

At least only one Big 10 team will be in the BCS and they will not be able to ruin another National Championship game.

You know that guy that works in your office that doesn't give a crap about sports? I wish I was that guy right now.

You know that guy that works in your office that sniffs glue? I wish I was that guy. At least then I would have no idea what is going on.

But if he fair caught it - it shouldn't have run, right?

not that it's what happened, or should've. Just curious.

Point being that the 15 yarder really could've bit iowa.

And I agree. How does 5 seconds roll off on a 30 yd FG. From the coverage, should've been more like 2-3.

Just watched the replay - there were 3 seconds when the FG hit the net.

Didn't ISU go from 2-9 one year to 7-5 the next? Wasn't that like, 3 years ago?
