Too lazy to look it up but wasn't Murray's shooting % pitiful in the first 5-6 playoff games? Eventually, they will run more plays for more reliable options. It's called analytics.
He is averaging about 9 points a game on 52% shooting including 47% from three so far.

He was 3-12 and 1-8 from three with a total of 10 points in the first three games combined. He then followed that up by having a very nice outing in Game 4. He was also very solid in last night's game but my goodness let's not act like he's the special sauce here. The reason the Kings lost was not because they didn't play through Murray.

Also, Keegan is not a very assertive player. He's pretty reserved overall and had to essentially be told to get the ball by teammates even when he was at Iowa.

Considering murray was borderline unplayable most of the series I'm not sure why he should just be handed looks.

I agree with that, but lets also remember that Murray is essentially a role player on a pretty good team. I don't think he wants to over extend his role at the same time. The Kings will go as far as Fox and Sabonis take them. Fox had a really poor game last night.

That’s exactly what the whole world is saying about Keegan…. except for Iowa fans. They are whining because they don’t go to him enough I guess?

You are right…. he’s a role player on a pretty good NBA team. Nothing at all to be ashamed of at all about that…. but that’s not good enough for Eickholt or Kenyon or most Iowa fans for that matter.

A couple nights ago KCRG in Cedar Rapids did a short report on Clarke University's women's basketball team winning the NAIA national championship. Keep in mind this happened about a month and half ago, but given all the circle jerking over a recently discovered team in Iowa City, the sports team must have decided to look outside IC for news that day.

Women's basketball in this state is stacked.

Yeah that's mine and everyone else's main point here. He's a rookie and a role player who's playing in his first playoff series and there are Iowa fans mad that he's not touching the ball enough and think that NBA vets & All Stars should be looking for him more. Eickholt, who's as big of an Iowa fan as they come, is also stating that unanimously voted as COY, Mike Brown is coaching poorly.

I do think Eickholt had a point in that Keegan was hot at the beginning and never got another shot attempt, but it isn't enough to tweet about IMO. But he knows what he is doing by playing to his base at the same time.
