Who knows if he'll reach his apex but this is exactly what I was thinking.

I agree with that, but lets also remember that Murray is essentially a role player on a pretty good team. I don't think he wants to over extend his role at the same time. The Kings will go as far as Fox and Sabonis take them. Fox had a really poor game last night.

Which is exactly what teams look for in a top 10 pick. Reserved non alpha dog role players. Lol. He’s soft

This probably IS his apex.

You don't go from a kid that had literally no offers out of high school to an All Star. He's at his ceiling, credit to him for working his ass off to get to this point, but there comes a point where you're tapped out. He'll have a long. solid career and make a lot of money but this is it, there's no juice left in the squeeze.

I do think Eickholt had a point in that Keegan was hot at the beginning and never got another shot attempt, but it isn't enough to tweet about IMO. But he knows what he is doing by playing to his base at the same time.
""You miss 100% of the shots you don't take." - Wayne Gretzky" - Michael Scott

But seriously, it's the NBA we're talking about. If you want a shot you can get a shot, you just have to be assertive and have the balls to maybe take a tough shot. I'm sorry, but Keegan rarely takes tough shots, they're mostly open or slightly contested threes.

Wish WHO would quit the ball washing on “The Iowa Sportscaster of the Year” commercial, (it really needs to be shot into the Sun). Arrogant sob Sears when he yell “Hello??” or does the “I’m #1” with the head nod. If I ever see him I will call him a POS!!

Unfathomable to me that Iowa fans and media like Eickholt if you can really call him media, get all up in arms about the offense not flowing through a rookie who finished 5th in ROY voting. He was drafted 4th overall. Sounds like a bust to me

Way too early to call him a bust. I think his ceiling is a Harrison Barnes type of player; solid player but probably not worthy being picked where he was. If he hits that ceiling, he'll make a **** ton of money so good for him.

Yeah, my 'bust' was more tongue in cheek about him finishing lower in the ROY voting (5) than he did as a draft pick (4) not my best work, admittedly.

Ugh I cross paths with him a lot due to soccer... He's such an a$$ hat.

I think Sabonis eats up a lot of the easy buckets that KM needs to get going during a game. He can’t really create his own offense on a team full of guys that can create their own offense and the Kings whole deal is Sabonis eating space and doing handoffs. Murray can’t run that game.

He's a guy who thinks he's funny, but he's not. Those are the worst types.

You're making everyone's point. Eickholt acting like they should be force feeding the 7th highest scorer on the team is what is laughable.

Who is the more entertaining hawk homer? Eickholt or Quinn Douglas (Neck Beard)?
I'm going Douglass because he really believes he's a serious journalist and it's not only his Iowa takes that are terrible.

Eickholt understands that he works for a website and is intentionally an Iowa homer.
