What am I missing here? Iowa has 10 as far as I can tell for 2023 and I'm sure they will for 2024 too. Same as it has been for sometime now. They also should have 7 home games each year, which is the way it should be IMO.
How many P5 games will ISU have this year, 2023, 2024?

I'm guessing 10, how many home games with they have? That is the issue to me. I wouldn't like it if Iowa went to less than 7 home games and especially not for a non-P5 matchup. I would think most P5 program fans would agree.

Why? Whats worse, scheduling a home and home with those teams or Kirk being too big of a p*ssy to leave the state of Iowa in the non con.
When Iowa and ISU both had four non-conference games who actually scheduled non-conference P5 home and aways?

Great... ISU has the harder Non-Con.

If you are going to do that, do it right...

I would do another rent a win myself. Give the fans another home game and the AD another game for game revenue. But that's just me.

Iowa ticket sales have shown that a dog sh!t OOC home game isn't exactly a needle mover, especially coupled with that B1G West Schedule and weak crossover games. There's 2 reasons Iowa's ticket sales were significantly up this year and they are Iowa State and Michigan.

Iowa still usually gets 60,000 plus for non P5 OOC home games. That is still a really good revenue generator and great for the fans that want to be in Kinnick.

So Iowa only sold out ISU and Michigan this year?

Kinnick has been sold out this year just like all of the Nebraska games. Other than the Mich and Iowa State games, there have been PLENTY of emptseats in historic.

1.) season tickets were up this year because it was one of the least sucky home slates Iowa has had in quite some time.
2.) season ticket holders gobbled up single game seats for secondary market opportunities which has back fired since the Michigan game. My friends couldn't give tickets away for last weekend.

Sold out doesn't equate to every seat filled. Some people stay home with a ticket that they bought. This happens at almost every event in the country.

I see we've moved onto the goal post moving phase of this discussion...
It's the only way they ever do it. You can't ever use logic with them. Imagine one of our media members being like Eickhole and then running over to HR or wherever to immediately defend him. God... thank you infant baby Jesus I am not a hawk fan.

We've been their first or second best regular season win for years and they want to give that up because there's soooo much pressure on Iowa to win the game lol. Incredible.
