Iowa beat reporter for 247 who gets more emotional about Iowa athletics than the common fan does.
When is the last time ISU scheduled a home and home in the non-conference that wasn't Iowa?
I bet his daddy Frank G is there rubbing his shoulders and telling him everything will be ok.
If teams want to do it they can. Iowa keeps whining about playing Notre Dame, ******* do it already.
We have home-homes scheduled for the next 8 seasons.
Oh yeah. Every week Notre Dame boards have a thread about how much they want to play Iowa.
ISU has had several home and homes in the non-conference that aren't Iowa. Shoot we literally play at Ohio next season as part of a home and home.
To another poster's point. Home and homes scheduled against Ohio (22/23), Arkansas State (24/25), Bowling Green (26/27), and Tulane (28/29).
Get me a home and home with UNLV more often. THAT WAS FUN!!!

Because they'd probably stuff Iowa's offense as well

I didn't think I need to preface it with another P5 program, but I guess I do. I didn't even know those still existed TBH. If ISU and their fans are happy with that future schedule, then more power to them.
A home and home with the Notre Dame and iowa does nothing for the Irish. Lose lose situation for them.
Its the main reason Brian Kelly left. Iowa couldn't play Notre Dame because of the ISU game, so he went to LSU so he could at least play a similar opponent in Alabama.
