It's interesting to me how all of the articles in DM Register sports section which feature the Cyclones are for subscribers only while the articles which feature the Hawkeyes are free to the general public. I've noticed this for a long time now.
Maybe the DM Register's thought process is that the Hawks are so bad they have to give Iowa free publicity
Most Iowa fans can't afford the subscription while Iowa State fans can would be my guess

Is that why the Register always includes lots of pictures of the Hawks with the article so the Iowa fans can follow along?

You're joking right? He is a huge Hawkeye homer. He gave out the names and hometowns of officials that he thought cost Iowa a game on Twitter and told Iowa fans to go after them
Bro i know him. He’s not an iowa fan. He talks about them a lot because it was his job for the last 20 years. It’s all he’s done professionally that has current relevance. He’s not a fan though, at all. If you knew him you’d know this but you do not.
