Below is an email I just sent to the Cedar Rapids Gazette.

So your newspaper hires a writer who brags about her team destroying the Big 12 Conference?? It's pretty clear the Gazette doesn't give a rip about the MANY people in eastern Iowa who are Cyclone fans. I'm sure she will do a great job of maintaining your newspaper's long held bias against Iowa State University.

No kidding. She may get fired for this, but probably not since The Gazette is Iowa Sports Central.

But tweeting out that your happy the Big 12 is getting destroyed.... which could completely end the ISU athletics department as we know it, and negatively impact thousands and thousands of Iowans lives.... is not a good idea.

The Gazette is trash anyway. They beg and beg me to subscribe, then I do out of pity, and half the time I don't get a paper.... so I ended my subscription. If they don't care if ISU and the Big 12 go under.... I surely don't care if The Gazette goes under.

The truth hurts. The Gazette is garbage... and going from Morehouse to this chick only made it worse.

Morehouse used to be 100% all Hawkeye, and then started questioning some of the things he witnessed going on inside the Iowa program and publicly started asking about what he saw.... and because of that he was treated so horribly that he quit his job covering the Iowa football program.

When you don't bow down before the king Kirk.... this is what happens to you.

I ended up having an email conversation with Hlas about this. While he doesn't hire or supervise any of their sports writers, he acknowledged the inappropriate tweet and told me he was going to speak with this new writer as soon as he returned from the vacation he was on.

I would encourage all ISU fans to not give any support to the CR Gazette at all. Let them go under if they think it’s funny that ISU athletics as we know it is going under.
