99% of Division 1/NBA basketball floors are “temporary” lololol this isn’t a High School gym where the floor is permanently in place.
Lol wtf? Seriously what does that even mean? That’s exactly how you’d expect Iowa to lose. A team that matches or exceeds them athletically, and plays tough defense.

Who cares Kakert? Iowa had their opportunity and laid an egg...... again! Richmond actually dominated Iowa Kakert.... it wasn't lucky in any way. The dominated the paint and took it right at Iowa.... while Iowa jacked up bad 3's.
Again, trying to convince the fanbase that Iowa was better than reality. That's totally stretching it to say Iowa was a sweet 16 team. That's not how any of this works!
Nike schools use a Nike ball and UA schools use a UA ball. I believe Adidas schools use Wilson's. I know it's been discussed when we have had to play @KU in the past.
If Fran didn't have them prepared to use the Wilson ball, that's on him.

This! They're soft and finesse. Anybody that gets up in their grill the way Iowa State and Richmond did throws their game off. Us beating them by 20 and Richmond winning were no fluke. The BIG 10 defenses are total trash.

The NCAA owns all of the floors used for the tournament. They store and reuse the floors for the first four and first weekend each year. The floors for the regionals and final four are brand new and sold off each year. But the upshot is they are identical floors at each site.
