Normally I do hold more weight for the regular season titles. But KU only won it by one game, has the same record against big 12 as ISU and a 1-2 record against ISU. I have to give the nod to ISU.
Is KU the next IU (with less titles)?
Apparently their fans think so. Come on KU fans, pull youself together, you are suppose to be a Blueblood, not an insecure little *****. UConn has not replaced you, yet.

KU fan here. I have been lurking here for a while but didn't feel it appropriate to chime in. But with the Big 12 season now over, I am coming out.
Great win folks. Even though we were prepared for your second half run, we still had no answer until it was too late. You deserve the win. For the next year, Hilton South it will be I guess. Sigh
I will be rooting for you guys for the next couple of weeks, and expect that you will make a deep run in the nationals. Any team that can beat us like that better make the Elite 8! (Of course, should we meet there, we will even up the score!)

From reading some of your posts, I know you understand that watching your team play dumb and brain dead is frustrating. Most of the second half was us watching our team play dumb again, so we are upset more with that than with the actual loss.

Wow, a lot of pettiness in there. I think the regular season championship is a huge deal, but no need to belittle a tourney that we all want to win.
"We don't care" said verbally is translated mentally to, "we actually think you are going to beat us. And since you don't have the history we do, we don't want to give you the satisfaction, when you do win, that we really did care. Ask Iowa fans, it's the same story with them and football.
I really apreciate your post. I will also be cheering for KU and the rest of the Big XII through the NCAA. Personally, I would love to see all the teams in the sweet 16 and beyond.

For almost every league/sport, the regular season is played for seeding into the championship bracket. You think the Patriots were happy the year they went undefeated and won the regular season championship but lost the Super Bowl? Which one do you think they would rather have won?

I cheer for KU in the NCAA tournament, for as much as I dislike KU, nothing is worse than a dumb *** BIG or ACC fan. That said, it will suck that once again we will likely get stuck playing the eventual champs near their campus while you guys have fun 3 hours away in Omaha.
