Yep, typical denial psychology stuff. People who say this stuff can't handle reality. They had a great regular season for sure, no taking that away and they got to the championship game. BUT try telling any one of those players or staff on the KU squad that this game didn't matter to them. They'd tell you that you're a complete ******* idiot.

It doesn't matter if it's the Big 12 or Big Sky - nobody on any team is OK with losing. If you think that they are, then you've probably never played sports at a competitive level, or you sucked so much that it didn't matter to you.
 
KU and ISU were both 15-6 in Big 12 play. We won head to head 2-1. CHAMPS!
 
I didn't realize you could be butthurt over something that was so meaningless. KU Fans are as bad as Missouri fans.
 
Sure, they are the regular season champions. However, who OWNED them head to head 2-1 this year? Damn right!

News flash, you live in the MIDDLE OF NOWHERE. There's nothing wrong with living in the middle of nowhere, just don't slam a rural state when you're from...and EVEN MORE RURAL STATE.

So glad their state is destroying itself on purpose with an idiotic political experiment.

3-3 in the past two seasons with more tournament success. They are scared. They know they needed refs to fix a game the year before that or the head to head would be even more locked up lately.
 
When I told my wife that KU didn't consider this a Conference Championship, she flatly commented that they were mad because they couldn't get home cooking from the officials away from Phog Allen

Fact: The NCAA MBB Championship is also decided by a single elimination tournement. Maybe we should get call Kentucky the NCAA Champion now (like FB) and label the tournament champion as such.

Maybe someone with and account on www.phog.net should explain to them these points to them? Apparently they "don't" care about the Big XII tornament (simply because they can't win it) but should because they can't seem to regularly get to the quarter finals, semi finals, or finals in the NCAA Tournament...

Iowa is mostly the sticks, but so is Kansas. The rest of the country has about the same opinion of both. Nobody thinks of Kansas as anything more than hicks, but they think of Iowa that way too.
 
Population of Kansas...... 2.9 million.
Population of Iowa..........3.1 million.

KU's student enrollment...27,900.
ISU's student enrollment... 34,700.

But we're the hayseeds?? I guess not too many KU students major in mathematics?

Also.... same Big 12 record, but we won 2 out of 3 games head to head. Big 12 Champs baby!!!
 
Let them have their little thing. We all know it will be over for them in about a week, anyway.
 
Bottom line, they get protected during league play.
Our best is better than their best.
KU will lose next weekend. We won't .

Exactly. Everyone knew that tonight didn't matter as far as seeds go. They played their ***** off because they freaking know that Fred is a threat.
