A lot of people on here made fun of Iowa fans optimism in their backup QB last year, and they're all eating crow. So as much as ISU fans didn't know what they were talking about with CJ before, Iowa and ISU fans alike have no idea what they're talking about when bringing up Wiegers.

Like I said, I know nothing about Wiegers but I've heard people say he's not ready. I would think Rudock is better but I really don't know.

I do know a lot of Hawk fans said "if Rudock was our starter we lose that game" against ISU or "CJB was the reason we won the game". Now Iowa is better at every position besides WR? That's like saying 2+2=5

Just because CJ was the difference in that game doesnt mean we cant be better than you other positions.

So Rudock is a starting QB on a top 25 team and if he was QB for Iowa than ISU wins that game but now Iowa is better at every position? That makes no sense.

Ive skipped most of this thread so far but I'm going to guess since Iowa hasn't lost yet to the average or mediocre teams they've played that they're going to the CFB playoff or Rose Bowl and everyone on their team is going to the NFL? I'll hang up and listen.

Everything you've said is "a lot of Hawk fans said.." You may have heard a lot of Iowa fans say that. I think I heard it from a few who are fired up about CJB. People say stuff.

Let's get this conversation on track with statements that actually be verified. Do you, CyT, believe Iowa won solely because of CJB?

no playoff talk yet, but give it time. In the other thread they're claiming Iowa is right behind OSU and MSU in the big 10

Is everything black and white with you? lol every position? No, however, there are positions, excluding QB, that I would take Iowa players at over ISU. You wouldnt?

Absolutely. He put the team on his back. Unless he starts sucking I have to eat crow about him. I was not impressed with him last year but he's played really well so far this year

Guess we'll never agree on anything regarding this then. Rarely am I going to think that one player single handedly won a game in football. There's simply too many other players on the field and other factors.

We also gashed the absolute hell out of you in the run game, esp. in the second half. That helped as well. SO add RB to a position I would take over ISU

you really think special teams are that different? Must be basing that off FG kickers? ISU has a better punter and punt returner, Iowa has a better kicker and probably kick returner.

ISU's secondary with a healthy Floyd matches up just fine with Iowa's.

Haha whys that? Because its true?

You guys are averaging just over 3 yards a carry, and have a grand total of 2 TDs from your RBs.

Iowa almost 5 (4.9) ypc, and have 9 TDs from that position, not counting CJs 3.
