Game Week!!

Didn’t take as many photos/videos as I would have liked. First one is a pic at the opening kickoff, second pic isn’t of anything in particular, third pic is after UM’s kick return TD.

@Brandon

Just wanted to make sure you saw these- I know how badly you wanted to see the photos, but you seem to have mysteriously disappeared from this thread. Hope this finds you ok!

Just like Brandon Smith, Amani Jones and Nate Stanley?

What is your point, here? All of these have been addressed and you are bound and determined to drive this point home for some reason.

We get it, that trio didn't have a great game individually, but 1 game is a pretty small sample size to just start making declarations on how their season will go.

Try to have a fluid conversation for once instead of reverting back to the same talking points.

Which one of those guys do you expect to bounce back and it was only one bad game for them?

As time goes on, I'm losing more and more faith in Smith. It seems like he has the physical tools, but might not have the mental side of things down.

Stanley I'm not all that worried about at the moment. He might not have the highest completion percentage, but throwing 26 TDs to 6 INTs last year is pretty solid.

Jones definitely wasn't great. Might be one of those kids who has all the physical tools, but may not have the mental side of things figured out, like Smith. Then again, the game might slow down for him and he'll turn things around. Time will tell.

You're pretty optimistic about Stanley and his accuracy/fumbling issues otherwise a good assessment IMO

Lazard drops passes, and Hawk fans think he's a bum. Fant also is known for dropping passes, and Hawk fans believe he's the best TE ever.

Obviously Fant is really good because the national media all pretty much agrees on that, it's just funny how he never gets criticized all that much for his drops while other players do.

Fant is another overrated Hok. I bet he goes undrafted, just like Lazard.

It's Hate Week. What are some great Hok jokes I can post on my social media accounts to get a rise out of my Hok fan friends?

It ain't hate week if you don't get unfriended a few times.

I think him throwing 26 TDs to 6 INTs in his sophomore year is a good enough reason to be optimistic for most programs. Whether he builds on that is the million dollar question.

And he still had a much lower QB rating than "noodle arm"

I'll give you credit if you can quote me on that. Otherwise, I'd prefer you not tie someone else's opinion to me. I've said it a few times now. I don't speak for other Iowa fans, they don't speak for me. I don't care to carry the water for someone else.

I don't mind debating with you, just debate what I say and not someone else.

Fair enough

Glad we can reach an understanding. I've been around just under 10 years with under 700 posts, so I'm definitely not a troll

The only point I was trying to make when you were giving Stanley the benefit of the doubt was a lot of Iowa fans question Kempt and even go as far as saying Stanley is better than him when Kempt was much better statistically. I know that wasn't you that said it though

I told you no other Iowa fan speaks for me and you had to slip in a Kempt vs Stanley jab for some reason. I'm not even sure I've said anything negative about Kempt
