Game Week!!

You don't know that for sure. Hard to compare because you have the tired old argument if it's Big Ten offenses that suck so bad they make the defenses look good and vice versa with Big 12 defenses sucking

Last year Iowa played 7 teams with defenses ranked in the Top 25 of Football Outsiders’ opponent-adjusted defensive efficiency rankings. Iowa State only played 3 (with one of them being Iowa).

No guarantee that those defenses will be ranked as highly this season, but it’s pretty clear that Big Ten defenses are better than Big Twelve defenses.

Benji going all yeahbuddy on us now. Football Outsiders? What did you do create a group here or just spent a ton of time digging up stats like your namesake buddy always use to do?

ESPN this morning said that the Big 10 defenses suck. Michigan, Ohio State gave up some huge plays against Oregon State, MSU struggled. Big 10 offenses are never that great.

What is the average amount of plays ran by teams in the bg ten? In the big twelve we have jet offenses cranking out plays. In the big ten I usually see ball control offenses which run the clock down and shorten the game. Less plays usually equate to less yards.
